Latin as the Romans Learned It

Post by Nesrad »

I recently discovered in a library a beginner's book that seems to employ the "natural" method, called Latin as the Romans Learned It, by Hector Levesque. I took some pictures that can be downloaded here. It's the second part of book one, and Worldcat tells me that the only known copy of this book is the one I came across. Googling the title doesn't give any useful info. Has anyone ever heard of this book?

FWIW,

The Universite Laval is Canadian and there is a noted computer A.I. expert of the same
name also in Canada. You can easily google contact info on him. Long ago I worked in a
print shop and we called that type of binding "GBC binding" and it is often a dead give away
that something is privately printed. Dr. Levesque has been at U. Toronto since 1984-ish.
Perhaps you've stumbled on a grad student project of his? Why not ask him?

Hope this helps,
