I don't understand why you used it in dative : Ἰωάννῃ

I used the dative of the agent. You could argue that I should have used ὑπό and genitive, but it's not too bad.

I think you should have used simple genetive here coz here there is neither verb nor verbal adjective. Have you come across such verbless adj- less uses of dative if the agent in classical authors?

It is a perfect participle though.
