one small translation question
How to translate "seven good ones of ten hoplites stay." ?

I'm not sure I understand the English perfectly, but maybe this:
τῶν δέκα ὁπλιτῶν μένουσι ἑπτὰ καὶ ἀγαθοί
τῶν δέκα ὁπλιτῶν μένουσι ἑπτὰ καὶ ἀγαθοί
“One might get one’s Greek from the very lips of Homer and Plato." "In which case they would certainly plough you for the Little-go. The German scholars have improved Greek so much.”

"ἑπτὰ ἀγαθοὶ τῶν δέκα ὁπλιτωῶν *ὁπλιτῶν* μένουσιν."
I enphasize two little mistakes. But yes it's clear the sense. And also in the version of Jeidsath -which is the same as yours only that you change the order.
- τῶν δέκα ὁπλιτῶν μένουσι ἑπτὰ καὶ ἀγαθοί .
For me both have sense, but i prefer-stylistically talking- yours, which is structurally closer to my native language, at least I will propose this order too. But on the reality both are and say the same thing.
