Pl Symp 174d

τοιαύτ αττα σφας Έφη διαλεχθεντας ιεναι. Does it mean : having discussed some such things we went or discussing some such things we went. I think having discussed unlike what Steadman Says, for discussing would be διαλεγομενους

Here is a bit more of the context:

ὅρα οὖν ἄγων με τί ἀπολογήσῃ, ὡς ἐγὼ μὲν οὐχ ὁμολογήσω ἄκλητος [174d] ἥκειν, ἀλλʼ ὑπὸ σοῦ κεκλημένοσ.“σύν τε δύʼ,” ἔφη, “ἐρχομένω πρὸ ὁδοῦ” βουλευσόμεθα ὅτι ἐροῦμεν. ἀλλʼ ἴωμεν.τοιαῦτʼ ἄττα σφᾶς ἔφη διαλεχθέντας ἰέναι...

You left out ἔφη. Aside from that, διαλεχθέντας is aorist, indicating time or action taking place prior to that of the main verb in its clause, in this case the present infinitive ἰέναι. We could translate it "after discussing a bunch of things..." The present participle would suggest coincident action, "while discussing..."
