Does anyone know if there are any scanned copies of Δημήτριος Κυδώνης translations of Thomas Aquinus available online? I heard he was active in the 1300s so his style is probably pretty medieval/Byzantine.
Just curious because I came across his Wikipedia article and was intrigued but couldn't find any of his works online.

Thanks Bedwere for the research.
I did find this on archive.org.
https://archive.org/details/Candal1945
It appears to be a discourse on the Summa by his teacher: Νείλος Καβάσιλας

There are a number of works by him on Hathi Trust. I see that about 7 are full view:
Demetrius Cydones
Demetrius Cydonius
He's mentioned several times in the index of Bibliotheca Graeca, also available full text over there.
Here is his section in Patrologia Graeca (v. 154), but I see no translations of Aquinas: https://archive.org/details/patrologicursus14migngoog
There are several manuscripts at the British Library with full view that contain letters or other works by him, but none contain his translations: http://www.bl.uk/manuscripts/

“One might get one’s Greek from the very lips of Homer and Plato." "In which case they would certainly plough you for the Little-go. The German scholars have improved Greek so much.”

Re: Works of Δημήτριος Κυδώνης
Thanks Joel.
This guy is one if those fringy authors who's style is byzantine but not well known and most likely caught up in the "Language Question" of Modern Greek Political Intrige.
I really think kathareuousa texts are an over looked treasure trove for students studying ancient greek. Not that this guys compositions are kathareuousa in style.
More and more I see a benefit of diachronic learning once a person gets past the basics of Greek grammar. Even in terms of starting with Homer and working one's way up......... My apologies for the late night diatrib....
