Salvete sodales,
What are some of the best tools for determining word frequency in specific texts?
I'd like to create intermediate-level texts that have a Words to Know list (inspired by the General Word List in Pharr's Vergil), but in order to do that I would like to be able to see what the most frequent words in particular text are. Beyond reading an entire text and tallying up each word, I'm sure there are some helpful internet tools available, but I haven't found them so far. Can anyone help?
