I'm addicted to Unicode!

Post by Talmid »

Unicode is awesome!

I'm at work right now, and I was able to put in a Unicode Greek text for my iTunes screenname. It's showing up all over the network now for those listening to iTunes.

My new screenname: ἀκούω φωνὰς ?ν κεφαλῄ μου

I'm sorry, but my inner grammarian can be silenced no longer: κεφαλῇ.
Ahhhhhh. I'm a dummy--I forgot the rule! As you can tell, I was more worried about the following enclitic.

It's fun going on Plane 2 rather than Plane 1 for the Gothic and Elder Futhark alphabets. Few people have the fonts to read them, but they look quite good.

I think he was replying to Talmid's "ἀκούω φωνὰς ?ν κεφαλῄ μου", although why it was necessary to randomly reply in a completely different language is beyond me. "?лушать" in any case, sounds odd to me without an object.
