Unit 17: Doubt on the translation of a doubt clause

Post by Ronolio »

Unit 17, Ex. I.3 "Non dubium est quin uxorem nolit filius"

I read this as "There is no doubt that the son did not want a wife" but the answer key has "There is no doubt that the wife did not want a son"
Am I wrong or the answer key?

[*]As there have only been 3 posts on this board in the past year, I am posting the question on the Learning Latin board also.

You are right. You may want to contact the editor of the key.
