ὡς δή τοι, ὦ ἑταῖρε, μαντικόν γέ τι καὶ ἡ ψυχή:
Translation: How prophetic the soul is, my friend! This translation is wrong because ὡς cannot be exclamatory in this context: so the correct translation is : likewise, to be sure, the soul is also something prophetic. That Fowler is a foul translator, hence his name.

What sense would ‘likewise” make here? and wouldn’t ὡς be accented if it were taken to mean “likewise”? I think this has to be exclamatory ὡς. It’s true I don’t recall having seem it with δή τοι or anything like it, but this is a strongly marked utterance, stylistically hyped up, and the particles seem apt.
